Oyo ALGON Chairman, Sanda Sympathizes With Oriire Attack Victims, Prays For Their Safe Return

The Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Sanda Sikiru Oyedele, has felicitated with Muslim faithful in Egbeda Local Government, Oyo State, and across Nigeria on the occasion of this year’s Eid el-Adha celebration.

In his Eid message, Hon. Sanda described Eid el-Adha as a significant festival that symbolizes sacrifice, obedience, love, peace, and unwavering faith in Almighty Allah. He urged Muslims and residents to continue promoting unity, compassion, and peaceful coexistence within their communities.

The council chairman also expressed sympathy with victims of the recent attack in Orire Local Government Area, describing the incident as unfortunate and painful. He said his thoughts and prayers remain with those currently in captivity and their families during the difficult period.

Hon. Sanda prayed for the safety, protection, and speedy reunion of the victims with their loved ones, while also seeking divine intervention for lasting peace across affected communities.

He further prayed for Almighty Allah to comfort the victims, strengthen security agencies, and bless Oyo State and Nigeria with sustained peace, stability, and progress.
The chairman also prayed that the Eid celebration would bring joy, divine mercy, abundant blessings, and renewed hope to every home.

“May Allah restore peace to every troubled community and grant us all lasting happiness and prosperity. Eid Mubarak,” he said.
