In every political season, there comes a moment when performance becomes a threat to mediocrity, when genuine service exposes the emptiness of noise makers, and when the rise of a God’s chosen candidate unsettles the camp of agents of destruction. As the 2027 general election in Nigeria draws nearer with just eleven weeks remaining, that moment has come in Oyo South Senatorial District, where Hon. Engr. Dr. Aderemi Abas Oseni, Member representing Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency, Chairman House Committee on Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA), and the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Oyo South Senatorial District, has become the target of sponsored attacks, not because he has failed, but precisely because he has performed more than his detractors ever imagined.
The sad reality of Nigerian politics is that some people are agents of destruction, sent to attack, to distract, and to destroy what they cannot build. They see Remi Oseni performing, they see Remi Oseni delivering, they see Remi Oseni as the winning candidate that will win Oyo South Senatorial District in 2027, and out of envy and political insecurity, they have resorted to cheap blackmail, lies, and orchestrated attacks. But they have forgotten one eternal truth: whoever is God’s chosen, nobody can diminish his name, and nobody can stop God’s work in his life.
Hon. Aderemi Abas Oseni’s performance in Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency has become a reference point for quality representation in Oyo State and beyond. While his attackers are busy manufacturing falsehood on social media and in beer parlour meetings, Remi Oseni is busy constructing roads, empowering traders, supporting farmers, educating youths, and institutionalizing philanthropy. The difference is clear; one is building, the other is destroying; one is working, the other is wailing.
As Chairman of House Committee on FERMA, Hon. Remi Oseni has brought uncommon professionalism, technical expertise and accountability to the oversight of federal road maintenance across Nigeria. He has insisted on value for money, quality execution and sanctions for contractors who fail to deliver. This national responsibility has not stopped him from transforming his constituency with critical road projects including the Elebu Junction-Elebu Market-Orita Merin-Idi Ahun Road and Nihort-Baptist-All Saints-Agbofieti Road, with ongoing interventions in Eruwa and Lanlate. What have his attackers built?
The agents of destruction are attacking Remi Oseni because they cannot match his empowerment record. On February 22, 2026, Remi Oseni disbursed over N200 million in a single constituency meeting where twenty youths received N1 million each and market women received N100 million support fund. Since December 2023, his Raising 100 Youth Millionaires Project has already created over 80 young millionaires. Recently, Hon. Aderemi Abas Oseni empowered Agbeni Amunigun Traders Association with N50 million business grant plus N5 million for secretariat and solar streetlights. His attackers who have never empowered ten people are now attacking a man who has empowered thousands. That is the height of political jealousy.
They are attacking Remi Oseni because his agricultural intervention has exposed their emptiness. In July 2026, Hon. Remi Oseni distributed agricultural inputs to 7,000 farmers across Ido and Ibarapa East, following earlier distribution of six trailers of fertilizer. These are not audio projects; they are verifiable interventions that have boosted food production, increased family income and aligned with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda on food security. Agents of destruction who have never visited a farm are attacking a man who is feeding his people.
They are attacking Remi Oseni because his N100 million Pasobba Road project has shown what listening leadership means. On September 12, 2026, Remi Oseni gathered seven communities; Power Line, Awonsoso, Siba, Olupoyi, Balogun, Baba Agba and Agaloke – and allowed them to choose between transformer and road. They chose road, and Remi Oseni approved N100 million immediately with a four-month completion pledge, plus N25 million for community groups. This participatory model has embarrassed politicians who impose projects that benefit only their pockets.
They are attacking Remi Oseni because his educational investment has shamed their lack of vision. With over N280 million invested in the Smart Learning Intervention Legacy Programme for Artificial Intelligence, robotics, coding, digital marketing and data analysis, plus sponsorship of over 1,500 JAMB candidates and free WAEC registration for 2000 students, Remi Oseni is preparing Oyo South for the digital future. His attackers who cannot even define AI are attacking a man who is teaching AI to rural youths. That is why they will fail.
They are attacking Remi Oseni because his philanthropy has institutionalized giving beyond politics. Remi Oseni personally donated N50 million to the N5 billion Ido/Ibarapa East Development Endowment Fund and fulfilled N5 million pledge for Anfaani Central Mosque solar project, plus launching N250 million empowerment for Blacksmith, Welders, Iron Benders and Metal Technicians Association of Nigeria. This is philanthropy with structure, not seasonal rice sharing. Agents of destruction who give only during elections cannot understand a man who gives before, during and after elections.
But let it be clear to these agents of destruction; no amount of sponsored write-ups, no amount of coordinated lies, no amount of blackmail can diminish what God has ordained. Whoever God has chosen, no man can diminish his name. The good people of Oyo South Senatorial District are not blind; they see performance, they see projects, they see empowerment, and they know the right person to cast their vote for in 2027.
Remi Oseni is loyal to the APC, loyal to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and committed to the Renewed Hope Agenda. Remi Oseni has pledged total support for Tinubu’s re-election in 2027 while ensuring federal presence reaches Oyo South. This loyalty and competence is what the agents of destruction fear the most, because they know that with Remi Oseni as Senator, Oyo South will have a strong voice in Abuja and a performing voice at home.
The political reality is that Oyo South needs a bridge builder who can connect Ibadan’s urban sophistication with Ibarapa’s agrarian strength, a road master who can attract federal road projects, an engineer who designs solutions, and a philanthropist who institutionalizes development. That man is Remi Oseni, and no amount of attack can change that fact.
To the agents of destruction, we say this; you cannot stop a moving train by shouting. You cannot stop God’s work with gossip. You cannot diminish a name that the people have already written in gold. Remi Oseni’s name is already written in the roads of Elebu, in the shops of Agbeni, in the farms of Eruwa, in the learning hubs of Ido, in Ibadan Southwest, Ibadan Southeast, Ibadan North, Ido, Ibarapa, and in the hearts of 7,000 farmers, thousands of market women and youths.
As we approach 2027 with eleven weeks remaining, the choice before Oyo South is clear; will you vote for agents of destruction who have nothing to show but attacks, or will you vote for God’s chosen who has performance, projects, empowerment and philanthropy to show?
The people of Oyo South are wise, the people are watching, and the people have decided. Hon. Engr. Dr. Aderemi Abas Oseni is the winning candidate, Remi Oseni is God’s chosen, Remi Oseni is the right person to cast their vote for, and no amount of attack will change the verdict of the people.
Agents of Destruction Will Fail. God’s Project Will Prevail. Remi Oseni Will Win Oyo South in 2027.
