Bibire Describes Senator Sunmonu As Trailblazer In Oyo Politics

As Senator Monsurat Olajumoke Sunmonu marks her 66th birthday, tributes have continued to pour in from political associates and admirers across Oyo State and beyond.

She is a beacon of hope, a voice of reason, and a respected mother figure in Oyo politics.”

Hon. Kazim Bibire noted that Senator Sunmonu’s leadership style, marked by empathy and excellence, sets her apart as a trailblazer. “Your calm demeanor, deep empathy, and strong character are traits that have earned you admiration across party lines.

These are qualities I strive to emulate in my own political journey,” he added.

He concluded his message with warm wishes for the celebrant, praying for her continued health, joy, and fulfillment in the years ahead.

Senator Monsurat Sunmonu remains one of Oyo State’s most respected political figures, having etched her name in history as the first female to serve as Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly and as a former Senator representing Oyo Central.
