Ilaji Hotel & Resorts Boss, Dotun Sanusi Commiserates With BON HOTEL, Family Over The Demise Of Operation Manager

The Chief Executive Officer, of Ilaji Hotel & Resorts Sports and ICAST, Chief. (Dr). Engr. ‘SIR’ Dotun Sanusi condoles with BON HOTEL and their family over the sudden and painful demise of its operation manager, Mr. Tunde Solomon who died of a heart attack he suffered as a result of the explosion that rocked the city of Ibadan on Tuesday in the Bodija axis of the city, near the BON HOTEL, his place of work.
Dotun Sanusi who is also the JAGUN Olubadan of Ibadanland expressed his hearty condolences to BON HOTEL and the family of the deceased using strong words:
“The news of the death of your operation manager, Mr. Tunde Solomon came as a rude shock to me as it expresses a great loss to your organization and the family. It is very painful, how the unfortunate error of one, has led to the loss and damage of lives precious to us, even at this trying time. The gift of a resourceful human in such a capacity as an operation manager is scarce and unpriceable. I couldn’t hold back my tears hearing the news of his death, a gentleman whose person I can describe as irreplaceable.
“I commiserate with the entire BON HOTEL management and staff and particularly the family of the deceased. I know this must have been the saddest moment of life for the concerned. May the almighty God grant you all a space to bear this irreparable loss and sustain those he left behind”
On Thursday 18th January 2024, BON Hotel Ibadan announced the passing away of its Operations Manager, Mr. Tunde Solomon.
The explosion which led to the demise of Mr. Tunde Solomon rocked Dejo Oyelese street last Tuesday night, claiming many lives, with over 77 people injured, and casualties to both lives and properties across the region.
Mr. Solomon’s death is traceable to the heart attack he had on the 17th of January 2024 shortly after the shock he suffered having been affected by the explosion which occurred on the 16th of January 2024 at the Bodija Axis near his workplace.
Meanwhile BON Hotel on their part while mourning the deceased on the hotel’s Instagram page, @bonhotelibadan, the management of the hotel described its late Operations Manager as a selfless and dedicated worker who had been using his 25 years in the industry for the growth of their organization.
They also described the deceased as a vastly experienced member of staff with more than 25 years in the industry. They also stated that His commitment to his role and his contributions to the growth of BON Hotel Ibadan and the BON group in general during his tenure were invaluable.
