Sharafadeen Alli, former secretary to the state government, has trounced the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Governor Seyi Makinde’s Oyo South senatorial district.
He defeated Joseph Tegbe and Kolapo Kola-Daisi, both formerly staunched members of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
BSA who aspired under platform of APC scored 111,513 while Tegbe of PDP polled 92,481 and Kola-Daisi of Accord garnered 33,641 respectively.
