The wife of the PDP Presidential Candidate in the forthcoming general elections, Chief Mrs Titi Abubakar stated that voting her husband, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar will list Yoruba woman as first lady in the country.
The Osun-born woman, Titi Abubakar said this at a town hall meeting on Monday held at Ogunlesi Hall,UCH, Ibadan while addressing women on the need to adopt and endorse the candidacy of Atiku Abubakar as the next president of the country.
Titi Abubakar listed the manifestoes of her husband which she described as five including: unification, funding of tertiary Institutions, security, power devolution (restructuring) and industrialisation, noting that a sum of 10 billion dollars is saved up for empowerment of both youth and women in the country for a worthwhile standard of living.
Titi Abubakar added that through her husband’ s political influence between 1999 and 2007 during the democratic administration of two term former president,Olusegun Obasanjo assisted the formation of an agency that discourages trafficking of women and children known as Women Trafficking and Child Labour Eradication Foundation (WOTCLEF) and as well translated to The National Agency for the prohibition of trafficking in persons ( NAPTIP) through an assented bill as lobbied by herself.
Titi stated that the agency founded has graduated 14,000 Nigerians ranging from primary, secondary and tertiary educational institutions, with various empowerments to youths and women who learned skills.
She stressed that she is ready to nationally fund an initiative throughout the thirth-six (36) states and FCT of the country as blended SHE: Security Health and Education with employment of campaigners across the country, noting that the initiative will officially take-off at election of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar on February 25th ,2023.
Titi Abubakar emphasized that the administration of People’s Democratic party( PDP) pioneered by Olusegun Obasanjo since 1999 till date has succeeded in security management, economy widening, health, and professionals rearing, with many more to be enjoyed under the administration of Atiku Abubakar, if elected.

Chief Mrs Titi Abubakar added that youth and women will be allocated 60 percent role in the administration of her husband, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as practised far back then that gave rise to the likes of Okonjo-Iweala, Nuhu Ribadu, El- Rufai, Akinwumi Adesina among others
” Remember , Okonjo-Iweala, Nuhu Ribadu, El-Rufai in their appointment, they were all youths
” The People’s Democratic Party ever since has made a huge history in rail transportation, ICPC set up, EFCC, GSM to mention but few”, Abubakar added.
Meanwhile, Titi Abubakar urged all electorates to vote for all PDP Candidates all through particularly her husband, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar who is described globally reckoning and an opium of positive restructuring and then new Nigeria clamoured for by every Nigerian.
