Experienced politician and former House of Representatives member for Egbeda/Ona Federal Constituency, Hon. Busari Olayemi Kobomoje has expressed his congratulatory wishes to the governor of Oyo State, Gov. Seyi Makinde on a conferment of chieftaincy title as “Jagunmolu of Ondo kingdom” by the Osemawe of Ondo kingdom.
The chieftaincy title which held on Friday at the Oba Adesanoye Civic Centre, Ondo, Ondo state, was presided over by
Oba Dr Victor Adesimbo Kiladejo.
Hon. Olayemi, a former Director General Oyo State Liaison Office, Abuja and close ally to Oyo State Governor Engr Seyi Makinde, stated this while speaking with pressmen at the occasion, noted that Chief Dr Engr Seyi Makinde has established himself as a political hegemony all over the country, pointing out that his virile strength in building relationship beyond the borders of Oyo State is a key to unlock Oyo state into its full capacity as a state of fortune.
“No wonder even first class traditional institutions such as the Osemawe of Ondo kingdom has recognized his pragmatic leadership and impact as a state actor, thereby honouring him with this well deserved title as Jagunmolu of Ondo”
“I congratulate his excellency on this well deserved chieftaincy recognition as it is another feather to your wing Sir, you have been leading us well and the testament of your relevance cut across party, geographical and boundary lines”
“Traditional institutions are key authorities in this democratic dispensation irrespective of civilization because they are part of our most effective structure in leadership and I must state without mincing words that You are a rallying figure for us and I share in your successes Sir”
Hon. Olayemi while congratulating Governor Seyi Makinde, urged him to sustain the developmental phases in the state, prayed God Almighty increase his wisdom for better governance.
“May the almighty God continue to sustain you as you keep printing your name in the footprint of time positively, I believe Ondo kingdom shall enjoy your benevolence much more and this shall attract more fruits leading to more unprecedented developments in Oyo state”
