The Caretaker Chairman, Iwa LCDA, Kajola Local Government, Area of Oyo State, Hon. Gedion Bolanle Oydiran has felicitated his constituents, people of Kajola, Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole on a successful completion of 2020 Gregorian calendar and welcoming them to 2021 new year.
Oyediran, whose Felicitation on behalf of Iwa Local Council Development Area(LCDA) was contained in a statement personally signed on Thursday, December 31 and made available to naijatodaynews.com.
The Council Boss cheered the constituents and all Nigerians both at home and abroad on successful completion of 2020 and ushering all and sundry to 2021 new year.
Oyediran enjoined all constituents to adopt the spirit of faith, hope and love. “We must emulate the life of humility, service, compassion, patience, peace and righteousness which are antidotes that enhance oneness, love and peaceful coexistence”.
He noted that peace and security are critical factors needed to enable Government accomplish its mission of revitalizing the economy, improving on creation of employment and maximum fulfilment of dividends of democracy to all.
Oyediran advised the constituents and Nigeria in general to adhere strictly to the Covid-19 protocols and guidelines, as stipulated by relevant authorities, during and after the yuletide, especially with the second wave of the outbreak of the disease.
The Council Helmsman, who reiterated Oyo State Government’s avowed commitment to the fight against armed banditry, kidnappings and other crimes and criminalities in the state, called on all people in the pacesetter state to support the efforts of the Law Enforcement Agencies, including Operation Amotekun by providing them with information that will enhance intelligence gathering.
While admonishing all constituents and others to remain focused, determined, patient and patriotic, Oyediran expressed confidence and optimism that the year 2021 would be a better year for all Nigerians and therefore urged all to use the period of yuletide to pray for Governor Seyi Makinde’s led administration and Nigeria at large.
He wished the constituents and all Nigerians,happy New Year Celebrations, praying that the new year will be accompanied by sound health, prosperity and blissfulness among others.
