Oyo State is at a crossroads. The next four years will either consolidate our gains or deepen our challenges. What the people need now is not more promises, but proven competence. Not more politics, but purposeful leadership. In 2027, Oyo State must choose a path of progress, and that path is clearly marked.
The year 2027 presents Oyo State with a defining opportunity to reset governance. After years of waiting, the people are asking for a leader who understands their pain, shares their dreams, and has the capacity to deliver. That leader is Oloye Taofeek Adegboyega Adegoke, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Governorship Candidate.
Oloye Adegoke represents a new kind of politics. A politics founded on service, not self. On accountability, not arrogance. On results, not rhetoric. Healthcare delivery must not be a privilege. Under the “Gboye ‘ATA'” agenda, primary healthcare centers across the 33 local governments will be equipped and staffed. Access to affordable healthcare will be treated as a right, not a luxury.
Agriculture remains the backbone of Oyo’s economy. Oloye Adegoke understands this. His plan focuses on mechanization, access to funding, storage facilities, and direct linkages between farmers and markets. When our farmers prosper, food becomes affordable and our economy grows.
Economic growth will be driven by deliberate investment in small and medium enterprises. Oyo State has traders, artisans, and innovators waiting for support. The Adegoke administration will provide access to capital, reduce bureaucratic bottlenecks, and create an enabling environment for business to thrive.
Infrastructure development cannot be negotiable. Roads, power, and water are the foundation of any modern society. The “Gboye ‘ATA'” blueprint prioritizes rural and urban road networks, sustainable energy solutions, and clean water projects that reach every senatorial district.
Security is the oxygen of development. Without peace, no investment can survive. The Adegoke government will work with traditional institutions, local vigilantes, and security agencies to ensure that every community in Oyo sleeps with peace of mind.
What distinguishes Oloye Taofeek Adegboyega Adegoke is his personal character. He is a man of integrity and transparency. Public funds will be treated as public trust. Procurement will be open. Governance will be inclusive. No citizen will be left behind because of religion, ethnicity, or political affiliation.
He understands the aspirations of market women in Oja’ba, farmers in Saki, students in LAUTECH, and artisans in Ogbomoso. He has walked among them. He has listened to them. And he has designed policies to address their real needs.
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) is presenting a full slate for 2027 because Oyo needs renewal from the top to the bottom. From the Presidency to the Governorship, the Senate, the House of Representatives, and the State House of Assembly, ADC offers fresh ideas and fresh energy.
This is not about party supremacy. This is about people supremacy. Oyo people deserve better. They deserve a government that works while they sleep. A government that plans beyond election cycles.
The slogan “Gboye ‘ATA'” is more than a chant. It is a commitment. It means “Listen and Act.” It means leadership that hears the people and responds with action. That is the covenant Oloye Adegoke is signing with Oyo State.
The challenges before us are real, but they are not insurmountable. With competence, dedication, and the support of the people, Oyo can become the model state in Nigeria for governance, peace, and prosperity.
2027 is not far. The choice before us is clear. We can choose complacency, or we can choose competence. We can choose self-interest, or we can choose service.
