Hon. Kolawole Sheu Adedeji, popularly known as KSA, has officially resigned his membership from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, citing the worsening internal crisis and unresolved challenges currently rocking the party.

KSA, a notable grassroots politician from Ward 4 in Ido Local Government, formally communicated his decision in a resignation letter addressed to the PDP Ward Chairman in his constituency, bringing an end to his affiliation with the party.

In the letter dated May 7, 2026, the politician explained that his decision followed careful reflection and extensive consultations with political associates and supporters, stressing that the present condition of the party no longer aligns with his political convictions and aspirations.
According to him, the lingering quagmire within the PDP has become a troubling signal capable of affecting the stability, unity, and future of the party both in Oyo State and beyond.
“I hereby formally tender my resignation as a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ward 4, Ido Local Government, Oyo State, with immediate effect,” the letter partly read.

KSA further appreciated party leaders and faithfuls for the support and relationships built over the years, noting that he remains grateful for the opportunities and experiences gained during his time in the PDP.
In what appeared to be a decisive move, he also directed the party leadership to remove his name and personal details from all PDP records and official platforms.
“Furthermore, I humbly request that my name and all my details be deleted from the party’s registers, records, and official website henceforth, as I am no longer a member of the Peoples Democratic Party,” he stated.
The resignation of the respected political figure has already stirred reactions across political circles in Oyo State, especially amid increasing speculations, alignments, and realignments ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Political observers believe KSA’s exit may signal deeper concerns among stakeholders within the PDP, particularly at the grassroots level where he commands significant influence and support.
Although he has yet to publicly disclose his next political destination, sources close to the former PDP stalwart hinted that consultations are ongoing, with many of his loyalists expected to follow his political direction in the coming weeks.
His resignation adds to the growing list of political developments currently reshaping the landscape of Oyo State politics as parties and key actors begin strategic positioning ahead of the next electoral cycle.
