A House of Representatives’ member, Hon Adedeji Stanley Olajide has continued with digital empowerment in Ibadan Northwest/Southwest Federal Constituency.
Hon Olajide, fondly called Odidiomo together with the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), facilitated a 2-week ‘Digital Skills for Artisans’; a programme, for 40 local craftsmen and women in the Counstituency
According to him, he said the essence was aimed at equipping these artisans with essential digital skills that would not only help them scale their businesses but also keep them relevant in an ever-evolving world.
Throughout the intensive training, these artisans immersed themselves in a digital landscape previously uncharted.
Their unwavering dedication and boundless enthusiasm lit up the NUJ Press Centre in Iyaganku Quarters. It was more than just a training but a journey of transformation and empowerment.
In a reaction, each participant who received a brand-new laptop, cash gifts stated that the empowerment would enable them thrive in a digital age.
“But this programme is more than just a training; it’s a vision for the future. Rep. Adedeji Stanley Olajide and his team have promised to empower at least 1,000 individuals from this year with the right digital skills.
