Undisputed facts and details have been revealed on how the Director General, Liaison Officer, Oyo/Lagos, Hon. Wale Ajani intends to run the new office.
Findings conducted by naijatodaynew.com revealed that, shortly after Ajani was appointed by Governor Seyi Makinde, he swung into action on how his proposed performance benchmark would be above 85% at the end of engagement.
An interaction with a resident in Oyo Stste, Comrade Abiona Adetunji known as ‘Kokoro’ revealed that an appointment of Ajani into that portfolio was a square peg in a square hole.

In a similar vein, one of his staff members, in Abuja whose name withheld disclosed that the current Director General, Liaison Officer, Oyo/Lagos has begun working on 4 key areas which he itemised as: Establishment of Liaison mechanism between Federal MDAs and Oyo State Government, Restructuring the workings of the office, Lobbying process for federal opportunities for Oyo State and Compilation of compendium of Oyo State indigenes in directorate cadre in federal service among others.
In his explanation, the anonymous staff expatiated that the establishment of liaison mechanism between Federal MDAs and Oyo State Government would enhance the Top-to-Bottom Approach in order to get rid of bureaucratic bottlenecks that keep delaying implementation of programmes, policies and notable activities among others.
Adding that the Liaison Officer has positioned himself to act diligently and effectively between Federal Ministries/ Departments/Agencies and Oyo State Government in order to get things done on time without much stress on bureaucracy.
The respondent, in his furtherance revealed that Ajani has begun restructuring the workings of his new office, noting that the occupant remains a person who brings renovation and latest ideas to making things work well in the office and wherever he finds himself.
He maintained that, Ajani has begun lobbying process for federal opportunities for Oyo State, stressing that his workings have been cutting across ministries, departments and agencies in order to bring notable opportunities to pacesetter state. He reiterated that, not quite long he came onboard that he has facilitated federal jobs for at least four indigenes and trainings for countless residents.
Not only but also added that Ajani has been expedited action on compilation of compendium of Oyo State indigenes in directorate cadre in federal service, he maintained that Ajani’s stance on this, would help knowing those working in Federal Civil Service, from Assistant Directors upward and benefits they could facilitate to pacesetter state.
