Aspirant into the House of Representatives for Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola Federal Constituency, Oyo State, Hon.(Alh.) Najeemdeen Oyedeji who is popularly known as “Oshine” has revealed Governor Seyi Makinde’s positive effects of good governance in Oke-Ogun axis of the state.

According to him, “in the last 2 and half years, Engr Seyi Makinde Administration had invested so much on road infrastructure in the Oke-Ogun region. The total cost of this investment is about #70 billion”.
“The intention is to open up Oke-Ogun and link the region with other regions and states. The efforts is capable of empowering the people of the region via agribusiness, trading and other commercial activities”.
Breakdown of task and cost.
The 65km Moniya-Iseyin road at a cost of about #8billion (completed). 9.7km Shaki township road at a cost of #4billion(Completed)”.
“However, you may wish to recall that same road was awarded for #8billion in 2016 by the previous administration. The Job was not done and money could not be accounted for”.
“Ongoing road works are: 45.3km Shaki, Ogbooro, Igboho road at a cost of #8.7billion. 34.8km iseyin Oyo road at a cost of #8.4billion. (Abandoned federal government project since 1993).
The latest in the road infrastructure is the newly created route, the 76.7km Iseyin- Ogbomosho road at a cost of #43.1billion. (To be completed in 13 months)”.
“When all the roads infrastructure in the region are completed on or by January 2023, it will be on records that Seyi Makinde Administration put in place about 230kms of roads network for the people of Oke-Ogun in just 4 years at a cost of #70 billion”.
