PDP Would Maintain Its Formidable Strength — POJ Says, As He Declares Interest In Oyo Guber Race

An Ibadan based philanthropist and chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Oyo State, Mr Popoola Olukayode Joshua(POJ) has declared his interest in 2023 Oyo governorship race under the platform of PDP.
POJ while speaking with the press men in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, unfolded his plans and interest to contest for the governorship seat at Agodi, Ibadan.
POJ said his ambition to run was consequent upon the consultation and the pieces of advice he had sought from the notable stakeholders, followers and others in Oyo PDP and beyond.
He stressed that he remains one of the governorship aspirants in the pacesetter state and promised to do and act in line with the peaceful procedures and guidelines to be laid down by the party to make and pick the candidate at an appropriate time.
On the forthcoming congresses, POJ said that he had the firm knowledge that PDP Congresses and national convention would soon come to place and he has been doing all possible to move in line with dictate of time.
On the crisis currently ravaging the party, he said the crisis was normal in politics, he acknowledged that the internal wranglings within the party would soon be over and assured that the party would maintain its formidable strength.
On 60th birthdate of Olopoeyan, POJ said Olopoeyan had for long been an eminent personality who cares for the betterment of the less privileged ones and also those who are in need of his assistance.
He stressed that the celebrant remains a person who derives pleasure in meeting people, attends to their challenges and ensures that whoever cries to him is relieved of his/her predicament via his philanthropic gesture.
POJ described him a courageous man, dogged fighter and principled being who always ascertains he achieves a particular course he believes in.
On current occasion of his birthdate, the governorship hopeful congratulated him and prayed God to make the subsequent years of his more prosperous, grateful and blissful.
