The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Oyo South Senatorial District, Hon. Engr. Dr. Aderemi Abas Oseni, has appealed to voters in Ido Local Government Area to cast their votes massively for all candidates of the APC in the forthcoming general elections.

Hon. Remi Oseni made the appeal on Friday, October 2nd, 2026, during a strategic stakeholders meeting with leaders and members of various communities in the Camp area of Ido, held at the Former Camp Primary School, Camp Ido, Ibadan.

The meeting, convened under the theme “Reforming & Strengthening Ido Community In Solidarity” by the BAI4ROCOF – Oseni For The World Movement, witnessed a large turnout of critical stakeholders who gathered in solidarity for the APC and the Oyo South senatorial ambition of Hon. Remi Oseni.

Communities and groups in attendance included Esteemed Farm Settlers from Camp and Eruwa, Distinguished Chiefs of Onido, Odebode Community, Morala Community, Mandela Community, Arihan Community, Oyateru Community, the Ido Youth Forum, and several other neighbouring communities and personalities drawn from across Ido Local Government Area.

Addressing the gathering, Hon. Remi Oseni urged the people to remain steadfast and united for the APC, warning them to ignore individuals or groups who may be working to create division or work against some candidates of the party.

He emphasized that only a total victory for the APC from top to bottom would guarantee the delivery of democratic dividends from all tiers of governance.

“Vote all APC candidates at the polls. Don’t leave anyone out. From Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as President, to our Governorship candidate, to myself for Senate, and all other candidates of our party. That is how we can guarantee development that will flow from the federal to the state and down to our communities,” Hon. Remi Oseni told the cheering crowd.

Responding to the requests presented by the communities, the APC Senatorial Candidate, who is widely known for his philanthropy and community development projects through ROCOF, assured them of immediate interventions.

He promised that solar-powered street lights would be installed and boreholes sunk for the communities before the elections, while their request for a transformer to address epileptic power supply would also receive appropriate and urgent attention.

Hon. Remi Oseni further encouraged the communities to ensure that the APC wins Oyo State in the governorship election, assuring them that their concern over the planned relocation of their community school to a far distance by the present administration would be addressed and reversed under an APC government in the state.

“The school belongs to your community. Under APC in Oyo State, we will ensure your school remains here for your children. You will not need to trek far distance to access basic education,” he assured.

A major highlight of the programme was the formal welcoming of His Highness Prince Babalola Abiodun Ibrahim (BAI) into the ROCOF fold.
