The Chairman, Oyo State Road Transport Management Authority, OYRTMA, Akin Fagbemi has felicitated Christians and Muslims on occasions of Easter festivity and the subsequent Ramadan.
Akin Fagbemi while congratulating the two notable religious adherents, enjoined the people of pacesetter state to ensure strict adherence to the trafick rules guiding the transport system.
OYRTMA Chairman, in a release he personally signed and made available to naijatodaynews, enjoining the motorists, motorcyclists and tricyclists to ensure that the trafick rules are strictly followed during and after the festivity of easter.
He stressed that it becomes the tasks and professional duty of OYRTMA in the pacesetter state to makesure that the road users are not acting contrary to the rules and regulations guiding the boarding and alighting of the passengers at the designated bus stops.
Fagbemi called on all road users across the length and breadth of the state to use the occasion of easter festivity to be cautious while on motors, motorcycles and tricycles for the sake of preserving souls and preventing any catastrophic accident.
He called on all Christian adherents to use the period of easter celebration to pray for Governor Seyi Makinde led administration, Oyo State, Nigeria and world at large.
Likewise, he enjoined the muslim faithful who are waiting patiently for the sighting of moon that marks the commencement of Ramadan, to while the holy month starts, use the period to pray fervently and equally imbibe the teachings that are attached to the period.
Akin Fagbemi enjoined all in the pacesetter state to pray for the government of Engr Seyi Makinde and continuous reign of peace and stability of Oyo State.
