The former Secretary to Oyo State Government, Barrister Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli Akogun has described late Chief Richard Osuolale Akinjide SAN as a man to be emulated in many ways.
BSA who is also the sixth Balogun of Ibadanland in a condolence message he personally signed and made available to Naija Today News disclosed that late Chief Richard Osuolale Akinjide SAN was a man to be emulated in many ways, sequel to his unprecedented achievements and possession of no blemish records while alive.
In his words, “Chief Richard Osuolale Abimbola Akinjide was a man to be emulated in many ways.He achieved many greats in his life”. Akogun said
“For me he was a role model for the generations after him”.
“In the Legal profession he rose to the peak as an Attorney General of Nigeria”.
“In Politics,he was involved from pre-independence to the top echelon of the ruling National Party of Nigeria (NPN) in the second republic”.
“As an Ibadan man, his name is still to be mentioned as one of the role models and success stories for the younger generation”.
“As a family man, he has raised children who are already flying the flag of the Akinjide’s family,among them is my sister, the iconic Oloye Jumoke Akinjide who I’ve called to condole with”.
Akogun reiterated that, “Chief Richard Akinjide was a successful man.He lived a long and fulfilled life.May his soul rest in peace!”. He concluded
