The Law making Aspirant to Oyo State House of Assembly, Ibadan North/West Constituency, Hon. Henry Idowu Balogun has hailed Governor Seyi Makinde on the feat attained on sole ownership of Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomoso which had become rivalry between the pacesetter and Osun States for almost three(3) decades.
Balogun in a release he personally signed and made available to naijatodaynews.com lavished encomiums on Makinde for being an indefatigable and pragmatic Governor who did everything humanly and administratively possible to ensure that the academic institution becomes the sole property of Oyo State.
The Law making Aspirant described the Governor as someone whose love for education and Oyo State could be attributed as love and complete emotions for his biological children, siblings and others.
He said Makinde was an achiever who eventually succeeded in ascertaining that LAUTECH becomes the property of the pacesetter state despite the rivalry and keen interest of the neighbouring state in having the academic institution to its custody.
Balogun stressed that the relentless efforts being put in place by the Governor and his brilliant team had no doubt necessitated LAUTECH ownership’s possibility before the National University Commission (NUC).
In another vein, Balogun equally commended the Governor for success he had made on the recruitment of Southwest Regional Security Network that is code named ‘ Operation Amotekun’ in Oyo State.
He said Governor was an objective and fair leader who ensures that the recruits’ allocation to wards and local governments across the state are in line with fairness, equity and justice.
He stressed that the success attained on LAUTECH ownership and Operation Amotekun had unequivocally become legacy that would forever remain in a Guinness Book of record.
Balogun enjoined people across all political divides to join hands with the Governor so as to take the state to enviable heights.
