I recall with immense fondness and deep humility the warm reception you accorded me during my visit to Ibarapa to engage with the G9 and G64—groups you lead with premium class, veteran experience, and wide acceptance. Your presence was not just that of a spectator, but that of a masterful conductor of political affairs. I was particularly moved by the passion with which you spoke about my vision for Oyo State; your endorsement and the impression my presentation left on you were deeply encouraging. I noticed that with such conviction, were it within your immediate power, you would entrust the mantle of governorship to me instantly. You are, indeed, an elder statesman with great stature who has seen the rise and fall of many administrations, and a treasure we all hold with the highest regard.
You are a beacon of the progressive philosophy in the Ibarapa zone and Oyo state at large who you remain a worthy example of consistency and integrity. We are in an era where political values are often fluid but your unshakable commitment to the All Progressives Congress and the development of our people stands as an institutional monument.
