The Accord Candidate for Atisbo/SakiEast/SakiWest Federal Constituency of Oyo State, Hon. Robert Atilola Babatunde said, he had no belief in God Fatherism but party hierarchy.
RAB who replaced late Jacob Funmi Ogunmola disclosed this while featuring on Hot Seat programme organized by Nigeria Union of Journalists(NUJ), Oke-Ogun Federated Chapel, which took place at a popular hotel in Saki, Sakiwest Local Government, Area of the state.
Ofiki-born politician stressed that political party and most especially, Accord Party has hierarchy which its supremacy is in line with provisions of its constitution.
Adding that, the power which constitution has bestowed on composition of all organs within the party must be observed and respected.
In another vein, RAB expressed his sadness over the death of late Hon. Jacob Funmi Ogunmola, who had earlier secured the ticket to represent the Federal Constituency at the green chamber of National Assembly.
He described JFO’s death as a monumental loss, which happened at a time that his impacts and concerned contributions to all were felt by all regardless of political platforms, religions and other differences.
He promised to relate passionately and conscientiously with all his followers within the party, family members and others without acrimony nor sentiment.
On his aspiration to the green chamber of National Assembly, RAB showed his gratitude to God almighty and party leaders who gave him the special consideration to replace the deceased.
He promised to make judicious use of opportunity given to him, that if elected at the end of the poll slated for February 25, 2023, he would truly ensure fulfilment of all promises made during the electioneering campaign to better the constituents.
RAB reiterated commitment to sponsorship of bills and motions that would see to betterment of constituents on areas of welfare, good conditions of living and other benefits.
He pledged commitment towards educational improvement, infrastructural developments, and developmental programmes and projects that would make lives of constituents easier.
The Reps’ candidate was however accompanied to the programme by some of the party elders, leaders, executive members and supporters from both Saki, Ofiki and others respectively.
