IBADAN, Oyo State – The Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government and Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria ALGON, Oyo State Chapter, Hon. Sanda Sikiru Oyedele, popularly known as Lajue, has extended heartfelt birthday congratulations to renowned party chieftain, Alhaja Abosede Adedibu, on her historic 70th birthday celebration.
In a congratulatory message issued on behalf of the people and government of Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Sikiru Sanda described Alhaja Adedibu as an inspiring, compassionate, and selfless leader whose life of service has left an indelible mark on Oyo State’s political and socio-economic landscape.
Hon. Sanda commended Alhaja Abosede Adedibu for her unwavering commitment to women empowerment, community development, and the advancement of vulnerable groups across the state. He noted that her consistency in supporting the vision of the present administration under Governor Seyi Makinde, coupled with her passion for improving the lives of the less privileged, has earned her widespread admiration beyond the shores of Oyo State.
“Your commitment to supporting the vision of this administration and your passion for uplifting women and the less privileged are worthy of commendation,” Hon. Sanda Sikiru stated. “You have remained a pillar of strength, a mobilizer of women, and a consistent voice for inclusive development in our party and our state.”
The ALGON Chairman observed that Alhaja Adedibu’s political journey is defined by dedication, loyalty, and grassroots engagement. According to him, her role in mobilizing women, strengthening party structures, and providing succour to families in need has positioned her as one of the most respected matriarchs in contemporary Oyo politics.
He emphasized that leaders like Alhaja Adedibu provide the moral and organizational backbone that sustains political stability and deepens democratic participation at the grassroots level.
Hon. Sanda Sikiru offered prayers for the celebrant as she enters a new decade of life, asking for divine grace to continue her service to humanity.
“As you celebrate another year of God’s faithfulness, I pray that the Almighty grants you sound health, uncommon wisdom, renewed strength, and many more fruitful years in service to God and humanity,” he said.
