The Allied People’s Movement (APM) candidate for Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency, Engr. Kolawole Sheu Adedeji, popularly known as KSA, has reaffirmed his commitment to youth development and grassroots inclusion as the centerpiece of his legislative agenda. This was demonstrated during a strategic engagement with the Youth Wing of Oke Oloro Community in Ido Local Government Area, where KSA also donated to strengthen youth participation in community development.

The meeting forms part of KSA’s ongoing constituency-wide consultations aimed at aligning his policy blueprint with the realities of young people and community stakeholders ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Speaking with members of the Oke Oloro Youth Wing, Engr. Kolawole Sheu Adedeji emphasized that young people remain the driving force behind his vision for purposeful and people-oriented representation across Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency.

“Young people are not just the leaders of tomorrow; they are the partners we need today to build sustainable development. Meaningful progress can only be achieved when youths are equipped with the necessary skills, support, and opportunities to contribute meaningfully to nation-building,” Kolawole Sheu Adedeji stated.

He outlined his agenda as being anchored on seven key pillars; youth empowerment, quality education, job creation, infrastructure development, healthcare improvement, agricultural advancement, and expanded economic opportunities for residents across the constituency.

The APM candidate assured constituents that his office, if elected, would prioritize practical policies and programmes over rhetoric. Key focus areas include entrepreneurship support, vocational and technical training, digital innovation, educational scholarships, and structured employment opportunities for young people in both urban and rural communities.

“Representation must not end on election day. It must be a daily conversation with the people whose mandate you carry,” Kolawole Sheu Adedeji stressed, reiterating his commitment to continuous engagement between elected representatives and the grassroots.

As part of his commitment to community development and youth participation, Engr. KSA presented a donation to the Oke Oloro Youth Wing to strengthen their organizational capacity and encourage greater involvement in community-building initiatives.

“This is not charity. It is investment. When we invest in our youths, we invest in the future of Ido/Ibarapa East,” KSA said. He described the gesture as a token of appreciation for the youths’ commitment to peace, progress, and development within Oke Oloro, while urging them to remain united and proactive in driving local solutions to local challenges.

Community leaders and youth representatives expressed gratitude to Engr. Kolawole Sheu Adedeji for the visit, his message of hope, and the material support extended to the organization. They commended his grassroots approach to politics, describing it as refreshing and people-centered.

“We appreciate Engr. KSA for coming to meet us, for listening to us, and for backing his words with action. His focus on youth empowerment and inclusive governance aligns with what our community needs,” a youth leader said on behalf of the group.

The leaders pledged continued commitment to initiatives that promote development, unity, and peaceful coexistence within Oke Oloro and the wider Ido Local Government Area.

KSA’s emphasis on youth empowerment, education, infrastructure, healthcare, and agriculture positions him as a candidate focused on development-driven politics rather than transactional engagement. The engagement with Oke Oloro Youth Wing is part of a broader strategy to consolidate support across Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency.
