Dr. Adewale Kolapo Kareem (AKK) paid a strategic courtesy visit to the Okanlomo of Oodua, Jubril Dotun Sanusi, where he formally discussed his intention to contest for the Governorship of Oyo State under the platform of the All Progressives Congress.
During the meeting, AKK presented his comprehensive 20-point agenda for the transformation and development of Oyo State, alongside his visionary publication titled “Our Realistic Tomorrow.”
Engr. JDS commended AKK’s preparedness, vision, and intellectual depth, noting that he was the first governorship aspirant to personally present a detailed blueprint and developmental roadmap to him. He expressed confidence in AKK’s capacity to deliver purposeful leadership and meaningful development for the people of Oyo State.
The respected elder statesman further advised AKK to remain focused, consistent, and steadfast, stressing that he is in the right political party and on the right path. He also offered prayers for success and pledged his support toward the realization of the vision.
Both leaders reflected extensively on the challenges facing Oyo State and Nigeria, agreeing that the nation’s greatest challenge remains leadership. They expressed optimism that with competent, visionary, and people-oriented leadership, a better future is achievable.
The discussion also touched on national politics, including support and strategic conversations around the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
AKK equally appreciated Chief JDS for his immense contributions to the growth and development of Oyo State and Nigeria at large, describing him as “an institution of humanity” whose impact continues to inspire generations.
