Sanda Sikiru Oyedele, has once again demonstrated his unwavering dedication to empowering the youth of Egbeda Local Government. Yesterday, Hon. Sanda embarked on a laudable initiative, paying the WAEC fees of 100 selected indigent brilliant students from public secondary schools across Egbeda Local Government. This gesture, valued at N3.5 million, has brought immense relief and joy to the beneficiaries, who were hitherto constrained by financial difficulties.

Notably, Hon. Sikiru Sanda, who also serves as the Chairman of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON), Oyo State Chapter, has consistently demonstrated his commitment to educational development and youth empowerment. His leadership and vision have been instrumental in driving positive change in Egbeda Local Government.

Other dignitaries present included Former Tescom Chairman, Pastor Akin Alamu; Hon. Ibrahim Oladebo Simple, Vice-Chairman; Alhaja DR. Monsurat Alaga, HLGA; and Acting Chairman PDP, Egbeda LG, Pastor Judah Olamoyegun. Representatives from Tescom/Subeb, traditional rulers, Ancops Chairman, Bishop Philips Old Students Excos, teachers, parents, and students were also present.

In his vote of thanks, the beneficiaries’ spokesperson, expressed their profound gratitude to Hon. Sikiru Sanda for his kindness and generosity. “We are grateful for your selfless intervention, which has given us hope for a brighter future. We promise to be good ambassadors of Egbeda Local Government and make you proud.”
