The Federation of Oyo State Students National Council led by Oyeleke Olalekan Alabi, Lekmass has registered her dissatisfaction in the Special Adviser on Students’ matter to Governor Seyi Makinde.
The indigenous association, in a press statement released by her President, Olalekan made available to news men, stated the reasons for their distress call.
Olalekan stated categorically the reasons for calling for the removal of the SA Student’s matters to the Oyo State Governor, Victor Olojede.
In the report, the Leadership described the Special Adviser to the Governor, Victor Olojede as a inactive man, who is not capable to manage the students’ populace.
Lekmass qualified the Governor’s aide as a destroyer rather than unifier, hence, declared a vote of no confidence on him.
The press statement partly reads, “Most times when we choose to be silent it seems we keep people and the public away from knowing the truth. (By a great philosopher). The Student’s Union that has always served as pressure group from the existence and was used to show the past administration lapses in Oyo State has turned otherwise in the hand of a shameless man who is the present Aide to the Governor Of Oyo State ( VICTOR OLOJEDE DIDEOLU) who is the Special Adviser on Student’s Matter. Part of the questions the public keep asking us is when did the Union turn to Victor Olojede property that he is using as personal sources of feeding himself and his family . Others were asking us why did the Oyo State Governor (Engineer Seyi Makinde) bring this shameless man on board? I kept telling them it’s best known to the Governor.”
Victor Olojede academic background and appointment was also questioned in the press release by the Students’ leaders. Although, Jungletalker is yet to verify the authenticity of this information, It reads, “Majority claimed he was a dropped out student Ordinary signed out pictures he cannot showed up to the public, not to talk of his acclaimed school clearance, which proved those allegations were right.”
This newspaper gathered that the press release came after an alleged factioning of the Federation of Oyo State Students executives by the SA.
Olalekan in his press statement, emphasized that the SA started the faction since the inauguration of the Electoral Committee, during and after the election.
It was alleged that the SA Student’s Matters failed to recognize the authentic leadership elected by the student populace, but instead give credence to the alleged faction he orchestrated.
He was alleged to have disrupted the process of the election several times by the use of security force and political thugs. Olojede was accused of using his office to threaten various institutions in the state, not to allow the use of their schools for the association’s Election venue.
However, the National President, calls on the Oyo State Government to take proper measures, remove Victor Olojede as SA, to prevent students’ wrath.
