Hon. Rotimi Ajumobi, an aspirant into Oyo State House of Assembly, for Kajola State Constituency has reiterated his stance on firm collaboration with the executive arm of government, in order to facilitate Infrastructures and economic empowerment to the constituency.
Ajumobi who aspires to contest under the banner of People’s Democratic Party, PDP come 2023 made this known in a release he personally signed and made it available to naijatodaynew.com
Okeho-born aspirant stressed that the duties of lawmaker are explicitly stated and defined according to the constitution, customs and traditions of the respective state hallow chambers in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
He maintained that parliamentarian is saddled with the responsibilities of giving effective representation, making good laws and acting passionately on oversight functions among others.
Ajumobi however disclosed that, despite the fact that the tasks of lawmaker are known, he would ensure he has firm collaboration with the executive arm of government in order to necessitate infrastructural developments and economic empowerment in Kajola State constituency.
Assembly Hopeful, disclosed that the outcome of objective investigation he conducted had shown that the constituents of Kajola State Constituency need infrastructures which would make difference between living and existing.
Adding that concerted efforts would be made on economic empowerment of the constituents, while their areas of skills and specialization would be known and developed for positive elevations.
He said that, lobby is one of the strategies in the house to bring goodies and development to the constituency, maintaining that he would form concrete synergy with the honourable colleagues and the executive arm in order to attain desired results for the constituents.
Ajumobi however charged the constituents of Kajola State Constituency to queue behind him on actualization of the aspiration, stating that he needs support of all and sundry in order to attain its fruition.
