The Chairman of Lagos Chapter of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Engr Adedeji Doherty has said that the crisis rocking the party across the Southwest Zone of the country will surely come to an end sooner than later.
Doherty said this in a release he personally issued and made available to the news men.
According to him,”the misunderstanding among members rocking our party PDPwill surely come to an end sooner than later”.
“Rancours are bound to happen in a political setting , that is Democracy , but how we are able to manage it, is what matters”.
“I had a stakeholders meeting with some party leaders on Tuesday where we discussed at length on how to resolve the lingering matters at hand. Later, on the same day, the national reconciliation committee led by Senator Bukola Saraki had a meeting with the party leadership in Lagos where we had frank deliberation on both sides”.
“In continuation of the reconciliation process, I hereby promise our party faithfuls that my humble self and the entire Exco will continue to persuade our people and explore ways by which we could stay United as a party”.
“We would take this opportunity to thank the Leaders and Members for participating in this noble exercise.
Our sincere thanks also goes to the Sen Bukola Saraki led Reconciliation Committee and the National Working Committee led by Prince Uche Secondus for taking the bold step of putting this Honorable Team together”.
“All we need to do , is to humble ourselves and get ready to submit ourselves to the party and the Party’s Constitution”.
“May Almighty God help our party wax stronger Amen *PDP! Power!”, Doherty prayed.
