The Caretaker Chairman, Iganna, Local Council Development Area(LCDA), Iwajowa Local Government,Area of Oyo State, Hon. Adeleke Jacob Olayiwola has felicitated the constituents of the area of his administrative jurisdiction and Nigerians as a whole on the celebration of new year(2021) festivity which comes up on every January 1st.
Olayiwola in a statement he personally signed and made available to naijatodaynews.com congratulated the people of his administrative jurisdiction, whole Nigerians and others across the globe on the unique occasion of new year’s celebration which God in His infinite mercy has spared the lives of all and sundry to witness, despite the challenges of ravaging Coronavirus pandemic and associated End SARS’ palava.
Olayiwola said that people should use the current celebration of new year to appreciate God and spiritually move closer to Him, for the protection, blessing, sound health, prosperity and other numerous gifts He had granted to all for the past one year.
He stressed that remaining till date to witness the new year’s festivity was not orchestrated by being unique nor saints but God in His uncommon mercy and blessing only granted the rare privilege to all and sundry.
The Council Boss, admonished the Christianity, Islamic and others’ adherents to use the period of celebration thank God for protection, blessing and sustenance granted to all and sundry to remain till date.
He advised people to celebrate moderately and equally tailor themselves in line with Covid-19 guidelines that were approved by the relevant authorities at the state and national levels.
In another vein, Olayiwola hailed Governor Seyi Makinde’s leadership style that culminates into unprecedented achievements in Education, Health, Agriculture, Infrastructural Developments, Youths’ empowerment and other areas which are positively touching the lives of the people of the pacesetter state.
He called on political key players regardless of the platforms and others across the length and breath of the state to team up with the Governor so as to bring more developments and dividends of democracy to all and sundry.
Olayiwola equally appreciated the party leaders, executive members, loyalists, members and staunched supporters of PDP for the unity, oneness and togetherness that keep all firmly together under one unique umbrella for the party to move on.
He said words alone could not thank how the people of constituency and Oyo State at large stood firmly when his kidnaps was orchestrated by the suspected kidnappers.
Olayiwola thanked them all and most importantly Governor Seyi Makinde and others who did all what they could to ensure his freedom was facilitated and attained.
Olayiwola added that he knows where the shoe pinches the people of the local government and he will do everything in his own capacity to curtail the challenges permanently, stressing that more dividends of democracy would be brought to all constituents.
He once again appreciated all the PDP’s stakeholders, party executives and members home and abroad for oneness and unity that keep the party moving.
He prayed that the new year would be better than last year and whatever each lays his/her hands upon would be prosperous and attainable.
