The Lawmaking Aspirant, Ibadan Northwest Constituency, Oyo State, Hon. Henry Idowu Balogun has felicitated the constituents, residents of the state and Nigeria at large on peaceful arrival of year 2021.

The legislative aspirant into Oyo State House of Assembly rejoiced with the good people of Nigeria for surviving year 2020 despite hearts’ disturbing events and especially coronavirus pandemic and EndSARS’ protests that struck the nation at large.
Balogun said 2020 was no doubt a melancholy memorable year, sequel to disastrous events that associated with deadly covid-19 pandemic and unforgettable EndSARS’ protest that shocked the length and breath of the nation.
He stressed that seeing the new year of 2021 in peace, sound health and calmness worthy of thanksgiving as many proposed to witnessed but God denied them the privilege.
Balogun added that doing this is not to mock the sick ones, the departed souls and others who are victims of certain conditions but to glorify God, the most high!.
He enjoined all and sundry to use the occasion of new year to pray for complete extinction of coronavirus pandemic, the state of insecurity and other ravaging challenges in the state and Nigeria at large.
He prayed that the new year will restore peace, political stability, calmness and normalcy across the nation and world at large.
