Members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Oyo State have reinstated their commitment to the coalition agreement that saw to the victory of Governor Seyi Makinde in Oyo State.
The members who held a mini-congress at Ibadan on Sunday which has in attendance, delegates from each local government area of the State, leaders of the party in the State and delegation from the national Secretariat of ADC, led by the national Secretary, Chief Anayo Arinse.
After dissolving the acting executive members led by Reverend Ezekiel Adeniran due to the vacancy created by expiration of their tenure, the Congress appointed a new executive members.
Among the newly-sworned in executive members are the Chairman, Mr Adeoti Babatunde Aderoju, Deputy Chairman, Timothy Adedeji, Secretary, Sola Olukokun and Publicity Secretary, Barr. Bimpe Adelowo.
Also on the list of the new executives are Alhaji Yinka Olona who is the State Party Treasurer while Mrs Olabode Bilikisu Bunmi is the Woman Leader, among others.
In a communique signed by the new State Publicity Secretary, Barr. Bimpe Adelowo, “ADC Oyo State is an indivisible political party and therefore reinstate its commitment to the coalition government led by His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde.
“The party affirms the leadership of Chief Michael Koleosho, Chief Layiwola Lakojo and Senator Monsurat Sumonu”.
The Congress held at Ibadan according to the approval of the National Executive Council of the party.
