DEFECTION: Makinde SA Culture(Ige) Commends Wolekanle, Bolaji’s Decision To Align With PDP

The Special Adviser to Governor Seyi Makinde on Culture and Tourism, Hon. Ademola Ige has commended the decision and firm courage of Hon.Akinwale Akinwole(Wolekanle) and Hon. Bolaji Badmus to defect to Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) from All Progressives Congress (APC).
Ige who is also the former member of the Oyo State House of Assembly expressed his delight and equally lavished encomiums on the defectors.
He revealed this during an exclusive interaction with Adetunji Fabode, CEO/ Publisher, naijatodaynews.com shortly after the defection of Wolekanle was confirmed in Ogbomoso North Local Government, Area of Oyo State.
In his words,”on defection of Hon. Akinwale Akinwole and Hon. Bolaji Badmus; it is a courageous move and really shows that they have the interest of the people at heart”.
He said,”it is a very courageous move and worthy of praises for them to leave their party(APC) to PDP because of the achievements of the Governor, they have really shown that the interest of the people is more important”.
The Ex-Parliamentarian also praised the works of Engr. Seyi Makinde as the antecedent which precipitated the defection of people from other parties to PDP.
Ige said Makinde’s works were the gospels that have brought transformation within the few years of assumption of office.
