



The Chief Executive Officer, Crime Alert Security Network, Ambassador Olugbenga Amos Olaniyan has disclosed that the coronavirus pestilence ravaging the state, country and world at large has changed the days of dividends’ payment to shareholders.

Olaniyan in an interaction with Adetunji Fabode, CEO and Publisher of naijatodaynews.com disclosed that the coronavirus pandemic which affects the economy and circular flow of money has no doubt changed days in which the shareholders are to receive their dividends.

Olaniyan said that under normal circumstances and in line with policy and agreement that concretize the financial security investment, shareholders are entitled to dividends after 6 weeks of investment.
Adding that the payment of dividends had changed to 60 working days when shareholders need to wait for at least two or three days after the date of their due payment.

While expatiating further, Olaniyan stressed that when shareholders could no longer exercise patience on when their dividends would be paid, saying the payment had changed to 60 working days after the date of investment.
The CEO said that he used to pay #70m on daily basis before the outbreak of Covid-19, stressing that the ravaged pandemic has affected the economy that the DHIL of Crime Alert Security Network could not afford it any longer.
He said that #70m has been reduced to #35m that the shareholders who are supposed to receive dividends on certain date need to wait for some days days before receipt of theirs.
