The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi has stated that he holds no grudge against Governor Seyi Makinde.
The suspicion of grudge followed the recent siting of the Police Mobile Squadron in Ago-Are.
According to The Nation, the Monarch stated this on Wednesday while playing host to the Governor who was in Oyo to commission some projects as parts of activities to commemorate his first year anniversary in office.
Alaafin said if he had had any ill-feelings towards the Governor or the Government, he would have walked up to him or write him to say so.
It was rumoured the monarch facilitated the police unit for Oyo town but it was reportedly hijacked and taken elsewhere by Makinde.
