The Chief Coach, Nigerian Minifootball, Fabian Etaba has shown excitement over his players’ display of skills and courage which earned them 3-2 winning over Zambia Minifootball Team.
Etaba showed his happiness while speaking with the crew of naijatodaynews.com shortly after Nigeria defeated Zambia by 3-2 goals at the ongoing 2021 African Minifootbal Nation’s Cup, talking place at Oloyo Village, Akanran Ibadan, Oyo State.
The Chief Coach disclosed that, the last match won by the players was the only prerequisite that could guarantee their qualification into quarter finals of the tournament.
He said he was happy that his prayer was granted, as the winning over Zambia had qualified Nigeria into quarter finals, adding that the game was tough and at the end, the country triumphed.
Etaba appreciated the players for their uncommon display of skills, courage and professionalism which earned them the place at the subsequent quarter finals.
Adeniji Kabiru Adewola who scored the 3 goals did not hide his joy, as the goals were instrumental to qualification of Nigeria into quarter finals of the current tournament, adding that he would put in his best to ensure the country lifts the trophy.
In the same vein, Tope Orelope who plays as attacking midfielder, also displayed his bliss over the victory and equally hailed the coach for restoring unique confidence into them, pledging that, they would ensure they lift the trophy.
