Who sent him ? Is salary payment an achievement?
What is the percentage of the workers compare to whole Oyo populace ? These are part of many oposition’s infuriating questions and reactions whenever we give credit to GSM’s promptness and dedication to workers and pensioners welfare.

Of course , it’s statutory right of any good government to pay her workers and pensioners as at when due, It’s not a thank you job nor privilege but their right, but if somebody is exemplary where others were/are making excuses, such deserves accolades.

All past government in Oyo State and Nigeria at large had done their best in term of pay salary as at when due and as the situations warranted .

With most of the past administration in the state it was not that smooth as one economic situation or state projects had always been a clog in their salary’s payment wheel. Consequently they piled up workers’ salary nto debts . A particular governor was nicknamed “Baba Afusa’ i.e he fonds of paying half salary.

When active workers were being owed, pensions and gratuities were going not areas, 56 months arrears, many died unceremoniously because of hunger. Debts accumulation from one administration to the other.

When past administrations that had favoured atmosphere piled up debts, if there was any government that supposed to continue pilling up salaries into debts , it is GSM administration because the situations on ground when he assumed office were not favourable in all dimensions economically :-

• Inherited piled up internal and external debt by past administrations.

*Inherited workers and pensioners salaries/gratuities debt.

*Covid 19 pandemic economic interruption

• End SARS problems

With all these challenges, instead of salaries being affected , DETERMINED GSM did his magic again and thought out of boxes to maintain his campaign promises…
” If we’ve not paid workers’ salaries, no political appointees will receive theirs”

He left many mouths opened, when he started new workers recruitment despite all the issues that held many governors of the Nigeria federation hostage. Come and see Oyo State pensioners raining prayers and encomiums on him, GSM is the real “koseleri” on Oyo workers and pensioners.

Since GSM inception, he has held on to this pledge sincerely, alert tom-tom every 24th of the month. This is unprecedentedly marvelous .Any Nigerian without partisanship mindset would credit this GSM’s faithfulness commitment. It’s already created sleepless nights for state major opposition, big reason they are escalating any other minor issue especially security to defame already honored enigma.

Let’s give honor to whom it is due, despite these prompt payment of salaries , pensions and gratuities GSM didn’t allow it to affect other state’s projects….
Free education is uninterrupted, move from 26th position to 11th nationwide. Roads construction unabated, health facilities and maintenance are non stop, sports facilities and activities striving
