The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) candidate for the Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency, Engr. Kolawole Sheu Adedeji (KSA), has demonstrated his commitment to grassroots engagement and responsive representation with the donation of a new set of chairs to the palace of the Olokolo of Okolo Land in Eruwa, Ibarapa East Local Government Area of Oyo State.
The gesture followed a campaign and community engagement visit by KSA to the palace, where he was received by the Baale, palace chiefs and residents of Okolo Land.
During the visit, the APM candidate interacted with members of the community and listened to their concerns, needs and developmental aspirations.
While at the palace, KSA observed the poor condition of the chairs being used by the traditional institution. Moved by the situation, he promptly arranged for the provision of new chairs for the comfort and official use of the traditional ruler, palace chiefs and members of the community.
The intervention was warmly received by the Baale, chiefs and residents, who expressed appreciation to the APM candidate for what they described as a thoughtful and timely response to a need identified within the community.
The community members commended KSA for demonstrating responsiveness to grassroots concerns, noting that his action reflected a leadership approach centred on listening to the people and responding to issues affecting them.
They also expressed optimism that the community-focused approach demonstrated by KSA would translate into meaningful representation if elected to represent the Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency.
Speaking on his approach to the campaign, KSA has continued to emphasise the importance of direct engagement with communities, identifying their needs and promoting practical interventions that can improve the well-being of the people.
His campaign has continued to focus on grassroots participation, community development and people-oriented representation ahead of the forthcoming election.
