Countless Nigerians who have become stranded in Saudi Arabia have appealed to President Muhammed Buhari and Governors of their respective states to facilitate their repatriation to Nigeria.
The appeal of their repatriation to Nigeria revealed in a viral vedio clip that was anchored by a woman whose name has not been ascertained.
The woman said that the two (2) years stamped on their visas had lapsed since last two to three months.
While appealing the governments and others in the country, the woman whose name is yet to be acknowledged appealed to Nigeria’s governments, Traditional Rulers, Public Office Holders and other important dignitaries in the country.
She lamented that she and others who are not at the same place have been living in pains for sometimes, stressing that since their authorized two (2) years entitled to spend in Saudi Arabia have lapsed, life has become unbearable and uncomfortable for them.
She said that they had been scattered all over the nooks and crannies of the city, that where they are living are extreme outskirts of Saudi Arabia where they all need to spend almost nine (9) hours before they could get to the main city.
She said they did not have access to basic facilities to make life comfortable for them, stressing that her and others’ state of health have been deteriorating on daily basis.
The woman confessed that she knew, she and other victims came to Saudi Arabia without the knowledge and approval of anybody but returning home has now become an herculean task.
She called on President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, Governor Seyi Makinde,Ooni of ife and those that matter in Nigeria for their quick deportation from Saudi Arabia.
She said that Saudi’s Authority had been threatening to bury them at their available pieces of land, should any one of them bid world good bye.
The woman added that to avoid their untimely death and have them buried in Saudi, should any unexpected phenomenon happen, Nigeria’s government need to ensure their repatriation from Saudi Arabia to the home country.
