Two people were reportedly killed by suspected rampaging herdsmen on Sunday at the Ngwan Doka 2 Community in the Nyanya Karu area of Nasarawa State which is near the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The incident occurred at about 2pm when the attackers who were on a revenge mission invaded and attacked Arigu David and one Mike in their houses and slaughtered them.

This newspaper gathered that the victims had at one time allegedly prevented the cows from eating up their plants within their household.

The assailants were said to have operated in a Gestapo manner in an operation that lasted for a few minutes and fled the scene.

The attackers took to their heels upon the arrival of a detachment of policemen from New Nyanya led by the DPO who got wind of the attack.

Meanwhile the bodies of the victims were taken to the Federal Medical Centre Keffi Mortuary, where they were rejected for lack of space.

The police eventually returned the corpses to the station as people thronged the scene.
