The opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, wants the suspended acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu, prosecuted.
The party in a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbodiyan, emphasised that the indictment of Magu reinforced its position that the anti-graft war of President Muhammadu Buhari is a huge scam.
The party holds that to save the face of Nigeria, the onus lies on the President to clean his Augean stable by not sweeping the matter under the carpet or seeking to provide soft landing for the indicted EFCC boss.
