Oyo state government has approved the purchase of 105 vehicle to the state security Unit.
The announcement was made after its Executive Meeting held at the executive chambers, Governor’s office,Secretariat, Ibadan today by in its brief media parley with the state correspondents by three of the state commissioners led by Information commissioner, Dotun Oyelade.
Speaking, Commissioner cor Budget and Planning, Prof. Musibau Babatunde stated that the operational vehicle in 100units KIA RIO of 1.4litre engine and 5 units KIA Maxima cars were procured as to enable the security architecture of the state be more engendered being one of the four pillars of Seyi Makinde.
Prof. Babatunde noted that the newly vehicle on procurement would improve mobility of security agents and as well posses special technological security apparatus and also help to nip insecurity in the state with delivery within the next two weeks costing 3.5Billion naira.
Recall, the state governor inaugurated a-12 man governing board into the Amotekun Corps of the state on Monday.
