Oyo Council Poll: We Don’t Expect ‘Settle Olaide’ To Have Opposition — Oluyole AMIS Throws Weight Behind His Second Term Bid

Following excellent performances that have been exhibiting by the executive chairman, Oluyole Local Government, Area of Oyo State, Hon. Popoola Olaide Settle, the Association of Model Islamic Schools(AMIS) in conjunction with Association of Muslim Private Schools’ Owners had appreciated him and however thrown their weight behind his candidature over move to come back for another term of office.

Ameel Muhammed, the AMIS Coordinator in Oluyole LG showered encomiums on the council boss and also appreciated him with gift while on courtesy visit to his office at Oluyole Secretariat Complex, Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.

According to him,”Settle has been assisting our association with dividends of democracy. And that has motivated our own association to want him back again, that if somebody of his own caliber, can govern us again, we would still receive so many dividends of democracy”.

“It is on that purpose we just brought little thing to support his second term bid as I, the Coordinator, PRO and Secretary of the Association of Model Islamic Schools(AMIS) and Association of Muslim Private Schools Owners), Oluyole chapter are in attendance”.

“I discussed with one of my colleagues that with what Hon Popoola Settle Olaide has done, I don’t expect anybody to contest against him. Is it about many Physical Projects he did throughout all the wards or the Police Stations he had built. He provided School Bags, Note Books and Text Books for pupils. He has done a lot for Oluyole Indigenes”.

“Even in private schools, I could remember there was a competition between Private and Public Schools and the representative of the school that Won was given scholarships. That alone was even enough for him to come back? I am telling you, I swear, settle has performed excellently”.

” I am telling you categorically that, Hon Settle has settled Us with dividends of democracy”, Muhammed affirmed
