The constituents of Oyo Central Senatorial District have lamented over poor representation of the district at the red chamber of National Assembly, which they claim retarding the growth and development of the area.
Their grievances was contained in a release issued by a non-political group whose signatures were pended by the chairman, Ajibade Kamalideen and secretary, Samuel Timothy.
The duo showed their displeasure over poor representation of Oyo Central Senatorial District, which they claimed have been retarding the development of the area.
While going in a memory lane, the non-political group lamented that the senatorial district has not been having good with people who had represented the place at the red chamber of National Assembly since inception.
Adding that those who had represented it and also acting now are not people who care for wellbeing of the constituents, but they are self-centered and incompetent representatives with no traces of any meaningful achievements.
They maintained that, they were representatives who came on board on a pretence of religious decency and integrity, but turned otherwise while ascended the throne of leadership.
They however asked constituents and generality of voters to stay connected to conscience and vote fresh breed, not self-centered and incompetent representative as elections approach.
They suggested that, while political parties and elderly representatives had failed woefully, that however calls for trying of a new breed whose motive is not premised on self interest nor personal aggrandizement to please himself and people around him.
They asked people to queue behind Engr Faozey Oladotun Nurudeen, the candidate of Accord party for Oyo Central Senatorial District, whom they described as a fresh breed with energy and vision to lead successfully.
They opined that, had it been there was a room for independent candidate to contest without affiliation with political party, Faozey would still be the best option.
The non-political group described him as someone whose aspiration for red chamber of National Assembly would facilitate developmental projects to the senatorial district.
Urging constituents and voters to vote him at 2023 general elections, because of his competence, credibility and mastery of the concept of legislation.
