Oyo 2023 : Vote Out Seyi Makinde, Oyo Speaker And…… — Concerned Youths Warn Electorate

Concerned youths in Oyo State have charged the eligible electorate in the pacesetter state to rescind the decision and conspiracy of voting out Governor Seyi Makinde and the speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin come 2023 general elections, as doing that would amount to return of APC alleged maladministration, disorderliness and total misuse of power.
This warning was contained in a release signed by the duo of Comrade Wasii Olorunmola and Comrade Timothy Solomon, who are the chairman and secretary of the Concerned Youth Vanguard in the state.
According to them, “if we look at it very well from the angle of his predecessors till his emergence as number five (5) governor to govern Oyo State since democracy. You will discover that none of Seyi Makinde predecessors has ever done what Seyi Makinde has been doing in Oyo Politics”.
“In a clear perspective, he happened to be the first Governor to work closely related with the first youngest Speaker, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin in Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole. Since the emergence of this administration, Seyi Makinde has never deprived Oyo Lawmakers their statutory rights. He has been smiling with them since his days in office up till this moment. Just of recent, he just released payment for constituency allowance worth millions of Naira”.
“Though, Some of those Lawmakers will not be reelected in 2023 according to our findings because they refused to emulate the roles of humanity being displayed by their Boss(Seyi Makinde) and most of them have been rejected by their respective constituents”.
“Some aggrieved leaders in the state are currently working against Seyi Makinde because he has blocked their ways from embezzling Oyo State’s Treasury. Some are fighting for appointments and other contracts. But they forget that they had received their rewards before, during and immediately after 2019 Elections”.
“Then, why disturbing the administration of Glorious Child? Though, they’re planning to work with opposition party which will surely relegate them in Oyo State and Nigeria’s Politics”.
“Come to think of it, let’s not go back deeply. In the Era of Senator Abiola Ajimobi of blessed memory, He ruled for good 8years(96Months) in office with 65% Achievements, in which Seyi Makinde of 2years, Seven Month (31months) had achieved 40% out of 65% Achievements of former Governor Abiola Ajimobi in 8years(96months)”.
“Now, electorate are now wiser than before and can’t be deceived by the lies and obvious propaganda of enemies within the party and the conspiracy of All Progressives Congress”.
In another vein, they also asked the people of OnaAra State Constituency to throw their weight behind the Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly. Rt Hon. Fadeyi in respect of his adherence to good representation, legislation and oversight functions among others.
