Aspirant into Oyo State House of Assembly for Kajola State Constituency, Hon. Rotimi Ajumobi has pledged his commitment to constituents’ welfare while he is lucky to secure the party ticket and wins the election.
Ajumobi who aspires to represent Kajola State Constituency, under the banner of People’s Democratic Party, PDP come 2023 disclosed this in a statement he personally signed and made available to naijatodaynews.com.ng
The Assembly hopeful stressed that apart from core duties of a lawmaker, which are characterised as representation, making laws and working on oversight functions, he would by extension ensure that he prioritises the welfares and good livings of the constituents.
Okeho-born aspirant maintained that the constituents are the important machineries who guarantee the mandate of lawmaker into the hallow chamber of lawmaking, stressing that it is incumbent on such parliamentarian to makesure he/she considers the wellbeing of the constituents.
Ajumobi added that the objective results of investigation and ceaseless enquires which are being made by the lawmaker would cautiously determine what the constituents are need of, without being asked.
The PDP Aspirant said he would constantly ensure there is flow of communication between him and the constituents, in order to maintain mutual understanding and cordial relationship with them.
Ajumobi pledged to organize town hall meetings, where the constituents would have sufficient access to fruitful and productive developments in Oyo House of Assembly.
In another vein, he commended the party executives at ward, local and state levels, also the leaders and stakeholders for their efforts to ascertain that the party remains in power beyond 2023 in the pacesetter state.
