Oyo Assembly Hopeful, Rotimi Ajumobi Congratulates PDP On Successful State Congress

The People’s Democratic Party(PDP) Aspirant into the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Rotimi Ajumobi has congratulated members and stakeholders of the party in Kajola Local Government and Oyo State at large on successful outcome of the state congress.

Ajumobi who intends to represent Kajola State Constituency at Oyo State House of Assembly come 2023, lauded the delegates, stakeholders and members of PDP in a congratulatory message he personally signed and made available to naijatodaynews.com.ng

According to him, “as all designated delegates in Kajola Local Government and others converged in Ibadan for the state congress of the People’s Democratic Party(PDP). It is a joy that it turned peaceful and successful”.

“It is important to reiterate that the peace and unity that characterized the ward and local congresses were equally allowed to prevail on the state congress”.

“However, those who aspired to occupy the seats as the next state executive members of PDP and emerged, should please see and acknowledge the task as one to expand the membership base of the party and avenue to unite the members”.

“Also, the contest should be embraced with the spirit of sportsmanship, while the winners need to be humble in celebrating victory and the Losers should gallantly accept the defeat for the sake of the party”.

“We should all remember that PDP is our political party that requires impact and quota of all and sundry to make it greater”.

“We all should rise collectively on how it will retain its power in the state and possibly take over the administrative steering of the central government”.

“With unity, love and togetherness, I strongly believe it is achievable”.

Ajumobi enjoined the new executive members to stand up to the urgent tasks which are in tandem with reconciliation and expansion of membership base needed to sustain the party.
