The Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Sanda Sikiru Oyedele, who also serves as the Oyo State ALGON Chairman, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah in Egbeda Local Government, Oyo State, and the nation at large on the successful completion of the 1446 Ramadan.
In his Sallah statement, Hon. Oyedele urged Muslims to uphold the lessons of Ramadan by continuing to exhibit acts of charity, peaceful coexistence, and adherence to the teachings of the Holy Qur’an. He emphasized the importance of sustained prayers for peace in Egbeda Local Government, Oyo State, and Nigeria as a whole.
Hon. Oyedele stressed that although Ramadan has come to an end, the prayers and support for the present administration, led by His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde FNSE, must continue. He also advised Muslims to celebrate Eid-El-Fitr with caution, advocating for moderation and extending love to one another, particularly the less privileged in society.
In conclusion, Hon. Oyedele wished all Muslim faithful a joyous Eid Mubarak celebration, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
