Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, has expressed his deep sadness and shock over the passing of Hon. Temilola Segun Adibi, a renowned chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and immediate past chairman of the Oyo State Signage and Advertising Agency. Hon. Adibi, a former chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government and former Member of the House of Representatives, passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
Governor Makinde described Hon. Adibi’s death as a “rude shock” and extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of the late politician, his political associates, and the PDP in Ogbomosoland. He praised Hon. Adibi as an exemplary politician who tirelessly worked towards realizing his beliefs, and noted that his absence will be deeply felt in Ogbomoso politics.
The governor prayed for God to grant repose to Hon. Adibi’s soul and to give his family the strength to bear the loss. Hon. Adibi’s passing marks the end of a remarkable political journey, and he will be remembered for his contributions to governance and community development in Oyo State.
