As the world steps into a new year 2025, Dr. Adewale Kolapo Kareem (popularly known as AKK), a gubernatorial aspirant for Oyo State in the 2027 elections, has sent a message of goodwill and unity to the people of Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
In his New Year statement, AKK, widely regarded as the “First Fakhar Soliheen” (Pride of the Righteous) of Oyo State, called for peace, oneness, and progress across the nation.
Speaking as both a statesman and a spiritual leader, Dr. (Al Imam) Al Mudeer Al Khaleefa Adewale Kolapo Kareem emphasized the importance of collective effort in addressing the challenges facing the state and the country. “The dawn of a new year presents an opportunity for reflection and renewed hope. Let us come together, irrespective of our differences, to build a better future for ourselves and our children,” he said.
AKK highlighted the pressing need for unity in diversity, stressing that only through mutual understanding and collaboration can Oyo State and Nigeria achieve their full potential. He called on citizens to embrace the virtues of peace, patience, and love for one another, which he described as the cornerstone of progress in any society.
Dr. Kareem also offered heartfelt prayers for the prosperity of Oyo State and Nigeria. “I pray for Allah’s guidance, protection, and abundant blessings for all our people. May this year bring peace to our land, solutions to our challenges, and progress in every aspect of our lives,” he stated.
Dr. Adewale Kolapo Kareem’s message resonated deeply with the people of Oyo State, as he urged them to actively participate in the democratic process. “Our collective voice is our strength. Let us remain engaged, informed, and united as we chart the course for a brighter future,” he concluded.
