The registration process, which kicked off on December 1, 2024, is free and can be completed on the NIHOTOUR website (https://nihotour.gov.ng). This initiative aims to promote professionalism, standards, and best practices in the hospitality and tourism industry.
According to the Director General/CEO of NIHOTOUR, Aare Dr. Abisoye Fagade (FIMC), this registration process is a crucial step towards transforming the hospitality and tourism sector in Nigeria. Dr. Fagade emphasized the importance of regulation in promoting quality service delivery and enhancing the overall tourism experience in Nigeria.
