In a remarkable display of unity, former PDP chairmen from various local government areas in Oyo State converged to promote democratic values and enhance Governor Seyi Makinde’s impressive legacy. The meeting, held on June 11, 2024, in Ibadan, brought together prominent PDP chieftains, including Chief Waheed Ajao Adurodekun, Alhaji Lateef Durojaiye, Alhaji Lamidi Fatokun, and others.
The Former PDP Chairmen Forum praised Governor Makinde’s achievements, rating him high in terms of excellent administration. They resolved to continuously support him and appealed for broad-based support for his future endeavors. The forum also urged the governor to strengthen the party by encouraging party members and attracting more patriots, likes of the Chief Executive Officer, Ilaji Hotels & Sports Resort, who is also the Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanland, Chief Engr Jubril Dotun Sanusi, to join the PDP.
